When everything goes for Rolls-Royce



If the price of McDonald's Big Mac is an economic indicator of the purchasing power, the sales of Rolls-Royce are certainly the best indicator of the health of the sector of the luxury. The subsidiary dislocates of BMW announced yesterday no more and no less that sales multiplied by 4 in October. During the last month, 279 model Rolls-Royce found buyer, against 70 in the same period last year.
Since the beginning of the year, Rolls-Royce delivered not less than 2007 cars. As comparison, during the banner year 2008, the subsidiary of BMW had " only " delivered 1212 vehicles.
Where from comes this impertinent growth?
At first, the success of "Baby Rolls", Ghost. Thanks to this model thrown this year, the ticket of entrance to the universe of Rolls-Royce is crossed from 500.000 € to 200.000 €, opening clearly the way to again growth drivers.
Then, Asia still fires and always sales upward, in particular China, where the eighth showroom of the (brand) has just opened its doors. Sign of time, China establishes the third world market for Rolls-Royce, behind the United States and Great Britain.

  6. I agree the brand is slightly overrated, but they are still cool. Although, I don't think I could ever get myself to buy a luxery car... I like economy cars too much!! lol

  10. Rolls's are cars of the gods. Although, I prefer a Bentley instead.
